The so called "trade wind " is characteristic for the Canary Islands, as this wind is permanent you’ll find perfect sailing conditions for all boat-classes here. Temperatures are moderate the whole year. This region offers a lot for each sailor, beautiful bays with black or white sand, incredible cliffs, caves and coastlines. We know well the "Venturi effect" between the islands, this is where the wind accelerates a bit, with us you’ll ride the Atlantic’s long wave, you’ll enjoy the deep blue water and the warm winds. Ever so often we meet whales, dolphins or turtles. This for sure is one of the experiences you’ll take home. You like to taste typical Canarian cuisine? Well, go ahead, we’ll show you the best places to go. It’s worth while! Sailing season is mainly between October an June. The passat is friendly and Temperatures around 22°C. |

| "Quetzal's" berth is in the harbour of Tazacorte, on La Palma's beautiful west side. Here we find perfect conditions to cross to all the other Canary islands. Longer cruises might start from different harbours on the other islands (i.e. Tenerife) if this makes booking easier for you. On La Palma "Quetzal", in addition to long cruises, offers you weekend- as well as daytrips. | |
| "Virus" is situated in the harbour of Tazacorte, on the La Palma's sunny west side. Here we find a well protected bay with nice winds and hardly any waves. The wind takes us either in northerly direction (Puntagorda / Garafia) or to Punta Larga in the South. Surely you'll get a new and incomparable view of the Caldera and La Cumbre. Often we are witnesses of cloud - cascades finding their way downhill into the valley. | |
